I obtained a Master's degree and a Specialist degree (post Masters) in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice.  I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with the state of Florida (MH13076).  I am registered as a National Certified Counselor. In addition to the private practice,  I have provided counseling under several community health organizations. I have worked in the prison, hospital, residential, school, and home setting.

My perspective on therapy has evolved as I learned from my professors, colleagues, and mentors, but most of all as I learned from working with my clients, who continue to  inspire me. Additionally, without my own personal therapy, I would not be the practitioner I am today. It is with pride and humility that I offer my education, experience and expertise to those clients who are committed to living their life as fully as possible.
